The nature of our advice
TWC Design provides independent design and value opinions. We are not builders, engineers, certifiers, surveyors or lawyers. Our advice does not replace structural, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical or other compliance advice, which must come from appropriately licensed professionals. We’ll flag anything we think they should look at.
Quotes and builders
Our comments on pricing reflect typical market rates and our experience at the time of review. Builder checks are based on public registers and information available to us on that date. We don’t guarantee any builder’s work, solvency or conduct, and the choice of builder and the contract remain yours.
Short-stay advice
Any figures about nightly rates, occupancy or return are illustrative estimates, not promises. Results depend on location, season, pricing and many things outside our control. You are responsible for local short-stay registration, strata by-laws and safety requirements.
Independence
We accept no commissions, referral fees or incentives from builders or suppliers. If we ever share a product link that earns a commission, we will say so clearly.
Fees and scope
Fees and scope are confirmed in writing before work starts. Reports are for your use on the project described.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fee paid.
